Fewer status calls and cleaner paperwork for every consignment
Transporters, 3PLs and freight forwarders handle a steady stream of documents and phone calls: proof of delivery, e-way bills, freight invoices, customers asking where their load is. AI reads these documents, matches them and answers status questions from your tracking data. Dispatchers and operations managers still decide routes, rates and exceptions.

Where agents help
Five places to start in logistics
Shipment status answers

Freight invoice matching
Invoice matching agentInvoices from fleet owners and carriers are checked against the agreed rate, trip records and detention charges, and differences go to the accounts team.
Customer billing follow-ups
Approval reminder agentBills awaiting customer approval or with disputed lines are tracked, and reminders go to the right contact on a schedule your team sets.

An example scenario
A 3PL in Bhiwandi answering status calls
A warehousing and transport company in Bhiwandi gets dozens of calls a day from customers asking about loads. An agent on WhatsApp reads the trip status from the TMS and replies with the last location and expected delivery. When a truck is late or a driver reports a problem, the agent tells the customer that operations will call back, and the ops desk gets the case with the trip details already filled in.
Illustrative example. It describes no real customer.
Data and rules to respect
- Driver and consignee phone numbers and addresses are personal data under the DPDP Act. Share them only with the people handling that trip, and delete them on schedule.
- E-way bills and GST invoices are tax records. The agent can read and check them, and a person approves any correction.
- Location data from drivers' phones needs a clear purpose and their consent. Use vehicle trackers where possible.
- Customs and cross-border documents are reviewed by your licensed customs broker. The agent prepares and checks, it does not file.
A plain summary for general guidance. Your counsel gives legal advice and decides how these apply to you.
Questions
From logistics teams
Our drivers send photos of PODs on WhatsApp. Can the agent read those?
Yes. It reads photos and scans, including handwritten entries where they are clear. Anything it cannot read with confidence is sent to a person to check.
Does it connect to our TMS?
AksharAI connects through APIs and database adapters. If your TMS is an older system without an API, our team can build a connector on 2good terms.
Will it change routes or rates?
No. It reports and prepares. Routing, rates and dispatch decisions stay with your operations team.
